Hi Y’all!

Hello!! And welcome to my page. My name is Ana, but I mostly go by Florencia to my family and close friends. I was born in Argentina, and moved to the states two decades ago. I am a wife to a cotton farmer, and a mother to two beautiful little girls that keep me busy all day. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My goal for this blog is to share all the things that are valuable and important in my life. Now more than ever, I have realized that I strive for a very simple life, surrounded by things that only improve my health and that of my family in all aspects and categories. Health and wellness are of upmost importance, so this is the category I mostly focus my energy on day in and day out. I wanted to share my knowledge with others, in the hopes of helping others achieve their health and wellness goals as well.

I was always a very active individual, involved in sports up to a collegiate level, and later became a certified personal trainer. I absolutely loved seeing my clients get healthier and I realized how much it meant to me to be that person in their lives. The person who would motivate them not only on days I would be training them, but even on days I wouldn’t see them by helping them make better nutrition choices and overall lifestyle changes.

After the birth of my first daughter, I experienced some health issues (later diagnosed as Hashimotos autoimmune disorder). That point in my life was the hardest (not only dealing with a newborn and navigating a completely new and scary chapter of my life), but also dealing with serious health issues that made me feel so defeated, alone, and scared for my future and that of my child. Thankfully, after some struggles, I had a huge awakening. I will probably go into more details in another blog post to keep this somewhat short and sweet. I took to alternative and functional medicine, finding the root cause of dis-ease, and have made significant changes which have resulted in amazing results for my health (mentally, physically, and spiritually) and happiness.

So this is the point I’m at. I want to share what has worked for me, and may help you! I want share anything that brings me slight joy, because maybe it will do the same for you, and that would make me so happy. I truly believe food is medicine, and let’s not forget the importance of maximizing nutritious foods for our bodies, and minimizing toxins. Every day is a new day to nourish our bodies and love them. We owe it to ourselves, our kids, and our loved ones to be the best version of ourselves, and health is the biggest part of being our best. I get asked on my social media platforms to share recipes and what products I use for myself and my family, so this is a great way to have a page where anyone can refer to those things. This blog page has been in the works since before the birth of my first daughter, but I now finally feel that the timing is right for me to share what I know and what I learn so we can all come together and encourage each other to live our best lives from here on out.

So thank you for stopping by! It truly means so much that you have taken time out of your day to visit. You can always leave comments and questions on the blogs, contact me, and don’t forget to visit me on IG and leave some love. Have a blessed day.

xo, Flor

The best way to keep ourselves educating is listening and learning from the young people that brings us fresh wisdom for our lives. Flor is one of my inspiration. Go girl šŸ‘Œ
